I grew up outside of Los Angeles, California and spent my early life surrounded by the arts. Drawn immediately to music and painting, I soon began to engage with poetry and photography, all of which I have pursued professionally for several years. I am currently finishing my degree in Jazz Vibraphone Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. I am half of the guitar-vibraphone duo known as Juniper Dive, a jazz/chamber music band based in Miami, FL. In school, I am the Jazz Department Photographer and Social Media Work/Study, and write opinion pieces for my column Here’s That Rainy Day that runs in the Miami Hurricane. In the coming year, I will be working in Miami and applying to law school.
